01 Oct University City Recycling Event
University City is hosting another recycling event on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Heman Park Community Center, located at 975 Pennsylvania, University City, MO 63130. This recycling event is a great opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted electronics, such as printers, TVs, anything with a cord, batteries and light bulbs. Normally there is a charge at most recycling events for CRT televisions or monitors, but they are waiving the fee for the first 200.
The first photograph of this recycling event post has the details for the event on October 13. The second photograph lists where to recycle other items, such as plastic bags, car parts, books, yard wast, prescription medications, styrofoam, corks, bikes and other items. While it is easy to throw everything into a trash can and let it go to the landfill, at some point, this will no longer be an option. I encourage you to take advantage of this free recycling event to de-clutter your home and help the environment.
